South London Photo Agency History

South London Photo Agency was formed in 1964/5 by Chris Walter and later became London Photo Agency in 1968 when Chris Walter was joined by Alec Byrne and Frank Baron shooting mainly music material plus also other entertainment material and sports.

This material was published extensively in the UK, Europe, Scandinavia and Japan in Newspapers and Magazines.

The original South London Photo Agency copyright stamp. Some prints had the individual Chris Walter credit some did not.
All South London Photo Agency prints and slides are copyright and owned by Chris Walter.

The South London Photo Agency pictures by Chris Walter from the 1960's were extensively distributed to and published in publications in the UK and Europe in the 1960's and some are now found on our Photofeatures site. Many of these prints are still in publishers files.
